ATHENA 2026- SANSKRITI | INTER-SCHOOL ART & CULTURAL FEST

Athena 2026 – Sanskriti, the prestigious inter-school Art and Cultural Fest of St. John’s School, Greater Noida West, was held on 8th May 2026 with immense grandeur and artistic brilliance. The event stood as a vibrant celebration of India’s rich cultural heritage, bringing together young minds from various renowned schools in an atmosphere of creativity, talent, and healthy competition.
The programme commenced with a solemn prayer, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising enlightenment and wisdom. The occasion was graced by Reverend Father Aaron Joshua John, Principal Ms. Reeja Ninan, Vice Principal Ms. Mini Sebastian, esteemed judges, faculty members, and participants from leading schools across the region.
A graceful welcome dance added colour and vibrance to the celebration, followed by the formal welcome address that highlighted the true spirit of competition as a journey of learning and growth. The audience was further captivated by the Patron’s Day documentary “A Glimpse Into Our Heritage” and the Patron’s Day Hymn, a soulful musical tribute celebrating the institution’s legacy and values.
In his presidential address, Reverend Father Aaron Joshua John described Athena as a true celebration of talent and encouraged students to rise above the noise of the modern world while remaining deeply rooted in Sanskriti—the timeless essence of culture and values. Principal Ms. Reeja Ninan, in her inspiring message, described Sanskriti as “an invisible thread that binds generations together” and “an echo of wisdom carried through tradition.”
The inauguration of Athena 2026 was followed by the cultural theme song and the commencement of various inter-school competitions that showcased creativity, intellect, artistic excellence, and teamwork. A spectacular flamingo dance performance further elevated the spirit of the event with its elegance and energy.
The event was honoured by the presence of an eminent panel of judges, including Ms. Sanghita Das, an accomplished Kuchipudi dancer and senior disciple of Padmashree Guru Jaya Rama Rao, and Ms. Poonam Verma, a distinguished career counsellor, CBSE Resource Person, and recipient of the Indian Education Award – Career Counsellor 2024. Their valuable insights and encouragement added immense significance to the occasion.
The ceremony concluded with the felicitation of judges, declaration of results, vote of thanks, the school song, and the National Anthem. Athena 2026 – Sanskriti emerged as a magnificent confluence of culture, creativity, and youthful brilliance, leaving behind cherished memories and a renewed appreciation for India’s enduring cultural legacy.
