FIT INDIA MOVEMENT
Victory of Truth over Evil - Dussehra teaches us Courage, Honesty and Goodness.”
The Kindergarten Department of St. John's School celebrated the vibrant festival of Dussehra with great devotion, joy and enthusiasm. The entire campus echoed with festive spirit and the values of Lord Rama.
The celebration began with a Special Assembly on Dussehra performed by LKG-C
The little ones confidently spoke about the significance of Dussehra and why we celebrate Vijayadashami. A beautiful Ramayana Skit was presented by our tiny tots, depicting the victory of good over evil which mesmerized everyone.
The festive mood was further elevated by an energetic Dandiya and Garba Dance performance by our little stars of LKG-C, filling the atmosphere with joy and rhythm.
To make the day more creative and meaningful, a fun-filled activity was conducted for all classes:
Nursery Children enthusiastically participated in making Ravana craft activity with disposable glasses, enhancing their creativity and fine motor skills.
LKG Children beautifully coloured the Ramayan scene enhancing their fine motor skill, Eye-hand coordination and Focus & Patience.
UKG Children enthusiastically participated in tear and paste activity in bow and arrow, enhancing their creativity, fine motor skills and understanding of the festival symbols.
The celebration was a wonderful blend of culture, learning and fun. Children learned the values of Truth, Courage, Patience, Honesty, Discipline and Team Work - the true essence of Dussehra. It was truly a joyful and enlightening day for all.
Happy Dussehra!
