Exploring the Epic Ramayana
St. John’s School, Greater Noida West, organised an engaging Kindergarten Competition on 15th October 2026, based on the theme “The Epic Ramayana.” The competition aimed to nurture the confidence, creativity, communication skills, and storytelling abilities of our young learners while familiarising them with the rich cultural heritage and moral values of Indian mythology.
The competition was conducted in three categories:
Nursery – Character Depiction from the Epic Ramayana: The little ones dressed up as various characters from the Ramayana, bringing them to life with their adorable expressions and enthusiasm.
LKG – Character Monologue from the Epic Ramayana: The young participants confidently portrayed different characters and delivered dialogues, showcasing their speaking skills and understanding of their chosen roles.
UKG – Storytelling from the Epic Ramayana: The students narrated stories from the epic with confidence, expression, and clarity, highlighting important values such as truth, kindness, courage, and righteousness.
The event provided a wonderful platform for the tiny tots to express themselves, overcome stage fear, and develop their oratory and presentation skills. Their enthusiastic participation and delightful performances made the competition a memorable learning experience, reinforcing the timeless message that good always triumphs over evil.
