CAREER AWARENESS SESSION ON COMPANY SECRETARY: EXPLORING PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

 

St. John’s School, Greater Noida West, organised a Career Awareness Session on “Company Secretary: A Career with Endless Opportunities” for students of Grades XI and XII (Commerce and Humanities) on 14 October 2026. The session was conducted in collaboration with The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) to familiarise students with this professional career pathway and its scope.

 

The session introduced students to the role of a Company Secretary in corporate governance, legal compliance, financial regulation and strategic management. Students gained insights into the various stages of the CS qualification, including the CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET), the Executive Programme, the Professional Programme, pre-membership training and CS membership.

 

The discussion also covered eligibility requirements, registration procedures, examination schedules and career prospects across corporate, financial, regulatory and advisory domains. The presentation helped students understand the professional responsibilities of a Company Secretary and the diverse opportunities available in this field.

 

The session proved informative for students exploring future career options, encouraging them to make informed decisions about their academic and professional journeys.
