BLOOD DONATION AWARENESS ACTIVITY

Our school organized a Blood Donation Awareness Drive from 28th September to 1st October to sensitize students about the noble cause of blood donation and its importance in saving lives.

 

As a part of this initiative, students of Class IX enthusiastically participated in a creative digital activity. From 28th September to 1st October (28th, 29th, 30th September and 1st October), under the guidance of their computer teachers, they designed informative and visually appealing web pages on Blood Donation using HTML during their regular Computer periods. The web pages highlighted the need for blood donation, its benefits, common myths, and the process of donating blood. The creativity and technical skills displayed by the students were highly commendable.

 

The best web pages created by the students were then shared on the official social media handles of the school to spread awareness among a larger audience.

 

Adding to the spirit of the campaign, students of Class VI took a pledge on 1st October to promote blood donation and encourage others to become responsible donors in the future. Their sincere pledge reflected their understanding and commitment towards this humanitarian cause.

 

The overall activity was a great success. It is not only instilling a sense of social responsibility and empathy among the students but also stands as a true testament of Digital integration in classrooms.
