MENSTRUAL HEALTH WORKSHOP | GRADE V-X GIRLS
St. John’s School, Greater Noida West organised a Menstrual Health Workshop for students of Classes V–X on 1 October 2026 in the school auditorium, aimed at promoting awareness, confidence and healthy menstrual practices among young learners.
The workshop, conducted as part of the Free Puberty Education Workshop initiative by Brand Side Story in collaboration with Whisper India, addressed important aspects of adolescent growth and development in an age-appropriate and interactive manner.
The session covered menstrual cycles, menstrual hygiene, puberty-related changes, period care, cramps, irregular periods and common myths and misconceptions. Students were also guided on maintaining personal hygiene, staying hydrated, choosing comfortable clothing, changing sanitary products regularly and recognising when to seek appropriate help.
Through engaging visuals and open discussion, the workshop encouraged students to approach menstruation without hesitation or stigma and to make informed and responsible choices regarding their health and well-being.
The session served as a meaningful step towards creating a more informed, supportive and respectful environment where students can understand the changes associated with adolescence with confidence.
