A special assembly was organised on 03.09.26 by the students of UKG F to celebrate the auspicious festival of Janmashtami, marking the birth of Lord Krishna. The assembly began with a serene prayer, followed by a brief introduction highlighting the significance of Janmashtami and the teachings of Lord Krishna.
The students of UKG F presented a beautiful dance performance depicting Krishna’s childhood, bringing alive his playful and divine persona. A captivating dance drama based on the birth of Lord Krishna showcased the devotion of Devaki and Vasudeva and the divine circumstances surrounding Krishna’s arrival.
The celebration also included melodious Krishna bhajans and devotional songs, creating an atmosphere of joy and spirituality. Students dressed as Radha and Krishna added charm and colour to the celebration.
As a part of the Janmashtami celebrations, a creative Matki Decoration Activity was organised for the kindergarten students. The activity gave children an opportunity to showcase their creativity while learning about the rich cultural significance of the festival.
The colourful matkis added a festive charm to the celebration and made the occasion memorable, meaningful, and joyful.
The Janmashtami celebration was a joyful and meaningful experience that reminded everyone that the essence of Krishna’s teachings lies in love, compassion, righteousness,and faith.
