SPECIAL ASSEMBLY | RAKSHA BANDHAN: THE BOND OF LOVE | CLASS I A

St. John’s School celebrated   Special Assembly  on the festival of Raksha Bandhan – The Bond of Love on 25^th August, 2026 .The students of Class -I  Class  I-A presented  celebration beautifully highlighted the values of love, care, respect, trust and togetherness that make every relationship 

 

The programme began with a soulful prayer, followed by an inspiring Thought for the Day and an engaging presentation of Vocabulary Words. The young speakers then shared a meaningful speech highlighting the importance of caring for one another and cherishing the precious bonds that connect us.

The celebration concluded on a joyful note with a vibrant dance performance depicting the beautiful bond shared between siblings.  Through their confident performances and cheerful participation, our little stars beautifully conveyed the message that true bonds are woven with love, care and lifelong promises. 

As beautifully expressed in the spirit of Raksha Bandhan: “A bond of love becomes stronger when it is nurtured with care, trust and respect.”

Another heartfelt thought that captured the essence of the celebration was: “Raksha Bandhan is not just a thread tied on the wrist; it is a promise to care, support and stand by each other.”
