TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATION | SPECIAL ASSEMBLY | GRADE IX
St. John’s School, Greater Noida West celebrated Teachers’ Day with a special assembly presented by the students of Class IX, dedicated to expressing gratitude to the teachers for their constant guidance, encouragement and support.
The assembly commenced with the Lord’s Prayer, followed by a segment highlighting the life and contribution of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and the significance of Teachers’ Day. Deputy Head Girl Pardhi Rawat delivered the welcome address, formally welcoming the dignitaries, teachers and students to the celebration. A special gesture of appreciation followed as students distributed thoughtfully prepared cards to their teachers.
The programme continued with a melodious Welcome Song and a vibrant Welcome Dance. Students then presented the humorous skit “Galat Letter”, which entertained the audience with its light-hearted portrayal of a simple misunderstanding. This was followed by an energetic Fusion Dance, bringing together different rhythms and styles.
The celebration was further enriched by an address from Vice Principal Ms. Mini Sebastian, who shared an inspiring message with the gathering. A soulful instrumental performance by Mridul Jain and Soham added a musical touch to the celebration.
The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Deputy Head Boy Shourya Singh, followed by the National Anthem. The assembly provided students with a meaningful opportunity to celebrate their teachers through music, dance, theatre and heartfelt gestures of appreciation, making the occasion a memorable one for the entire school community.
