TAEKWONDO BELT PROMOTION & GRADING TEST

St. John’s School, Greater Noida West successfully conducted a Taekwondo Belt Promotion and Grading Test on 21st August 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. The assessment aimed to evaluate students’ technical proficiency, theoretical understanding, discipline, confidence, and overall progress in Taekwondo.

 

The grading was conducted in two stages—a Written Test assessing knowledge of Taekwondo history, terminology, rules, techniques, and fundamental concepts, followed by a Practical Test evaluating stances, blocks, punches, kicks, combinations, basic forms, balance, flexibility, accuracy, and discipline.

 

Based on their performance, 12 students successfully qualified for belt promotion. Anvi Chaurasia, Kaushik Haldar, Nysa Chauhan, Shrishti Mishra, Ayushka Rawat, and Shreenika progressed from White Belt to Yellow Belt. Swarnima Jaiswal, Varnika Kushwaha, and Avyukt Ray advanced from Green Belt to Green 1 Belt, while Aadhya, Aradhaya Ashok, and Shaurya Jaiswal progressed from Green 1 Belt to Blue Belt.

 

The assessment was conducted under the supervision of examiners Mr. Sachin Kumar Gautam and Ms. Pooja, with Mr. Ajay Tyagi as the school representative. The successful grading reflected the students’ commitment to regular practice, physical fitness, self-discipline, and the martial-arts ethos of perseverance and continuous improvement.
