UNDERSTANDING ADOLESCENCE WORKSHOP | GRADE VI-VII

 

St. John’s School, Greater Noida West organised an “Understanding Adolescence” Workshop for students of Grades VI and VII on 17th August 2026 in the school auditorium. The session was conducted by Dr. Raveena Bhargava, Associate Professor at Delhi Metropolitan Education (DME), Law School, and focused on helping students understand the physical, emotional and social changes associated with adolescence.

 

The interactive workshop explored themes such as growth and development, emotions, gender awareness, breaking stereotypes, self-identity, healthy relationships, personal boundaries and mutual respect. Through engaging activities such as Time Travel Scenario, Mirror, Mirror and Solving Life’s Puzzles, students were encouraged to reflect on their strengths, choices, aspirations and everyday experiences.

 

The session provided students with a safe and engaging space to understand adolescence, develop self-awareness, respect individual differences and make responsible choices as they navigate this important stage of growing up.
