HINDI VEER RAS POEM RECITATION COMPETITION | CLASS III-V
St. John’s School organised a Hindi Veer Ras Poem Recitation Competition on 14th August 2026 for the students of Classes III–V. The competition provided young learners with a wonderful platform to showcase their patriotism, courage, confidence, expression, and command over the Hindi language.
The event celebrated the rich heritage of Hindi Veer Ras poetry, with students bringing alive the powerful and inspiring verses of renowned poets such as Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, Subhadra Kumari Chauhan, Kavi Bhushan, and Makhan Lal Chaturvedi. Dressed with confidence and enthusiasm, the young poets captivated the audience with their powerful voice modulation, clear pronunciation, meaningful expressions, and spirited presentation.
The competition was conducted in two rounds, with the Selection Round held on 7th August 2026 followed by the Final Round on 14th August 2026. The participants demonstrated remarkable preparation and enthusiasm, transforming the stage into a vibrant celebration of courage, patriotism, determination, and love for the nation.
The performances reflected not only the students’ talent but also the values embedded in Veer Ras literature—fearlessness, sacrifice, perseverance, and pride in our motherland. Each recitation echoed the spirit of our brave heroes and left the audience inspired.
The competition was successfully conducted under the guidance of the following In-charges:

The event concluded on a proud and inspiring note, leaving everyone with the message that when courage finds a voice, even young hearts can awaken the spirit of an entire nation.
