A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way. This line suits to the Reverend Father T.J. Johnson, the new chairman of St Johns’ School GNW. On June1, 2024 a welcome ceremony of Chairman had been organized at the auditorium of St. Johns’ School. The event commenced with a moment of reflection and gratitude, seeking blessings of God Almighty by teacher’s choir group.
Reverend Father served at St. Gregorios Orthodox Church, Jodhpur, and St. Mary’s Orthodox Church, Bikaner from 2001 to 2005. He concurrently served at St. George Orthodox Church, Pali from 2002 to 2005. Subsequently, he was the Chairman of St. Mary’s Orthodox Church, Kanpur, from 2005 to 2011. Father then served at St. Thomas Orthodox Cathedral, Dubai, from 2011 to 2014. From 2014 to 2017, he actively contributed to the holistic development of St. Thomas School, Jaipur, as Chairman.
His commitment to society has grown over time. From 2017 to 2020, he served as Chairman of St. Gregorios School, Dwarka, and St. Gregorios Pre-Primary School, Janakpuri. Since 2020, Father has been serving at Mar Gregorios Orthodox Church, Noida. His unwavering support and dedication will undoubtedly help the St. John’s family thrive. We eagerly look forward to working under His guidance.
Reverend Father was officially welcomed by the senior coordinator Ms Shipra Vohra.A melodious welcome song was sung by the talented teachers’ choir group. This welcome song aimed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, celebrating the togetherness and the beginning of a new journey. In recognition of his exemplary leadership and contributions, the chairman, Father T.J. Johnson, was felicitated by the management Hon’ble Vice Chairman- Mr. Varghese George, Honorable Trustee Mr. P.K. Thankachen and Hon’ble Secretary- Thomas John. This token of appreciation underscores the gratitude for his guidance and vision. Following the felicitation, The chairman,Father T.J. Johnson, addressed the gathering. His speech was focus on the organization's achievements, future goals, and the collective efforts required to reach new heights. Honorable Trustee Mr. P.K. Thankachen conveyed his heartfelt best wishes and joy for Reverend Father T.J. Johnson's association with St. John's School. A heartfelt vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Meena Sharma (Class 1 & 2 Academic Co-coordinator), expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the success of this event. This included all the dignitaries, participants, and organizers. The event was concluded with the national anthem, symbolizing our unity and patriotism. This act of respect reminded us of our shared identity and the values we hold dear.
