The Athena- Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat 2024 was a dynamic and captivating inter-school Art and Cultural Fest held on 10th May 2024 at St. John’s School, Greater Noida West. Students from classes I-VIII participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their talents and celebrating India's unity in diversity. The event commenced with a prayer led by the school choir, seeking the blessings of the Almighty. The ceremonial lamp lighting was graced by Chairman Reverend Fr Aji K. Chacko, Principal Ms. Reeja Ninan, and Senior Academic Coordinator Ms. Shipra Vohra, along with the esteemed Panel of judges.
The festivities began with a captivating welcome dance performance, setting the stage for a day filled with energy and creativity. The Head boy extended a warm welcome to the Panel of judges, guests, and participants from other schools. A diverse array of captivating events spanning performing arts, oration, and creativity were thoughtfully orchestrated. These included Tricky Trail, Yarns and Echoes, Flambeau of the State, Rhythm Rumble, Anukrit, Green Dream, Creative Crescendo, Rhythmic Pursuit, Groove Mania, Kaleidoscope, Master Strokes, Table Turners, Nirvana, Earthy Ensemble, and Brainiacs. Each activity contributed to the dynamic energy of the competition. The External Panel of judges, comprising professionals from diverse fields, ensured fair judgment and added a professional touch to the proceedings. Ms Poonam Verma, Managing Director of Careers4U, Ms Vaishali Shivnani, former coordinator and HOD English at Sapphire International School, Ms Sanghita Das, a renowned Kuchipudi dancer, Lathika, an English Teacher at St. John's Model School, New Delhi, and Ms Kamakshi Anand, a skilled content creator and social media manager, brought their expertise to the table, rewarding the best performers across various categories.
The closing ceremony of Athena- Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat 2024 was a grand affair, the event and junior academic coordinator, Ms. Preeti Verghese, announced the winners and prizes were distributed. Tokens of gratitude were presented to guests and judges, recognizing their invaluable contributions to the event's success. The heartfelt vote of thanks from the Head Girl marked the beginning of a new era of success and glory for St. John’s School, Greater Noida West!
