Freedom opens the door to happiness, liberty, and independence
A special assembly was conducted by Class VII A and VII B on 10/08/23 on the topic Quit India Movement .
The Quit India Movement was a movement launched at the Bombay session of the All India Congress Committee by Mahatma Gandhi on 9 August 1942, during the Second World War, demanding an end to British rule in India. It was a mixture of emotions to get to see the skit performed by the student which highlighted the different aspects of freedom struggle. The assembly included Maati Song (Patriotic one), thought, dance, Vocabulary and speech was delivered to embrace the freedom attained after the long battle from britishers. The most vibrant part of the assembly was Intra - house quiz competition in which participants got the opportunity to explore various theme questions including One-word answer, Who I am? , think and locate, guess my name. The zeal amongst the participants and the Audience was constant throughout the quiz. It was the combined efforts of both classes which made all the students relive one of the most important event of history of attaining Independence.
