We're thrilled to share that St. John's School recently held a painting competition for students in classes 3 to 5 on August 11, 2023. The competition, aligned with CBSE's 2nd Expression Series on "India's Vision for a Harmonious World," offered two themes: "One Earth One Family - Save Earth" and "My Last Visit to a Tourist Place in India with My Family." This event aimed to foster creativity and global awareness.
The paintings displayed a wide array of emotions and perspectives, offering valuable learning experiences. Many artworks underscored the importance of global responsibility and unity in protecting the Earth. Others celebrated India's cultural diversity and heritage through depictions of family trips to various tourist places.
The competition also encouraged students to explore creative techniques and develop empathy by portraying different viewpoints, from environmental concerns to personal family memories. The event's success wouldn't have been possible without the participation of students, supportive parents, and dedicated teachers. Let's continue to inspire our young artists, cultivating their creativity and compassion as they contribute to a more harmonious world ahead.
