‘To succeed you have to believe in something with such a passion that it becomes a reality.’-Anita Roddick Spellathon was organized for the students of classes I and II on 28th December, 2022 in St. John’s School. Spellathon or the bonding over words aimed at creating awareness of the possibilities of using varied words in written and oral expressions, to learn correct pronunciation and add words to the active vocabulary of students. This competition provided an interesting doorway for students to learn new vocabulary in an interesting play way method. The students participated with great enthusiasm and duelled through the toughest words. There were four rounds for this competition like Spell it right, Puzzles, Identify the words through clues and Jumble Tumble which attempted to inculcate in students a love for words, to challenge their limits, take pride in their efforts and explore their linguistic mettle.
