The sun baked grounds at St John's School when one saw some exciting matches as the inter-house football competition of the 2023-24 session got underway which had participants joining in from across VI-VIII standard. The display of utmost skills, abilities and energy flashed some unforgettable moments. The excitement flowed unabated in order to grab the winning title. However, Sportsmanship spirit by no means was at stake.
Games are an integral part of holistic development which directs one to be competitive while keeping the spirit of honesty and camaraderie alive. Keeping with the same, the Inter- House Football Match was played on August, 29 between the senior students (Boys & Girls) of all the four houses in an electrifying environment. The match started with words of wisdom by Principal Ms Reeja Ninan motivating the budding footballers to perform their best and work towards victory by playing the game with true sportsman spirit.
The final match was played by the players of Tabore House V/s Carmel (Girls) and Carmel V/s Tabore (Boys). Both the teams tried to outshine each other on the field to show their mettle. Carmel house (among girls) and Tabore House(among boys) emerged victorious . The team could be seen jubilantly celebrating its victory after the match. Well done  Carmel and Tabore!!!!!!
All the teams tried to outshine them on the field. Their players showcased their skills and determination while playing.The tournament showcased the talents of the youngsters and helped the school recognize possible future football players who could be a part of the school football teams.
