Beautiful minds are shaped by expert guidance and seasoned knowledge, and St. John’s School continues to uphold its firm commitment to excellence in education. This dedication was proudly reflected in two remarkable achievements at the International Maths Olympiad (IMO) Award Ceremony 2025–26, celebrating both exceptional educators and outstanding students.

The prestigious ceremony was held on 8 February 2026 at the NDMC Convention Centre and was organized by the Maths Olympiad Foundation. The event brought together eminent educators and academic leaders to honour excellence in mathematics education and to promote the true spirit of the Olympiad.

In recognition of their unwavering dedication and consistent efforts in nurturing young mathematical minds, Ms. Kamal Nagar and Ms. Neha Gupta were felicitated with the esteemed Ramanujan Award. The honour was conferred upon them for their exemplary work in promoting the Olympiad spirit and for ensuring the smooth and disciplined conduct of the examination. Their achievement stood as a testament to the school’s strong academic foundation and the commitment of its faculty.

Continuing the celebrations, a proud and memorable moment was witnessed on 16 February 2026 within the school premises, as students who excelled in the International Maths Olympiad were felicitated for their outstanding performance. The following students successfully cleared Level One of the prestigious examination and were awarded Gold Medals: Prisha Rawat of Class 3, Pratyaksh Vaish of Class 4, Krishnab Chakrabarty of Class 5, and Amogh Gupta of Class 8.

The young achievers were honoured with certificates and gold medals during a special ceremony. The awards were presented by the Chairman, Reverend Father T. J. Johnson, and the respected Principal, Ms. Reeja Ninan, who warmly congratulated the winners for their hard work, dedication, and remarkable accomplishment.

These recognitions marked a proud chapter in the school’s journey of academic excellence. While the teachers’ accolades highlighted the strength of mentorship and guidance, the students’ achievements reflected determination and perseverance. Together, these accomplishments reaffirm St. John’s School’s unwavering dedication to fostering intellectual growth, inspiring excellence, and nurturing future leaders in the field of mathematics.
