Basant Panchami and Orange Colour Day were celebrated with immense pleasure and joy at St. John's School, Greater Noida West, on 4th February 2025 (Tuesday). The day was filled with vibrant festivities, learning, and creative activities that made it truly special for the children.

The significance of Basant Panchami was beautifully conveyed to the young learners. They were introduced to the importance of this festival, which marks the arrival of spring and is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom, knowledge, and learning. The little ones learned that this day is considered auspicious for beginning new learning endeavors.

To celebrate the occasion, each class engaged in exciting hands-on activities:

Nursery children made beautiful flowers using flower petals, enhancing their fine motor skills and creativity.

LKG children crafted lovely flower bouquets, symbolizing the freshness and vibrancy of spring.

UKG children designed garlands with flower petals, showcasing their artistic talents.

The day was a perfect blend of fun and learning, allowing children to immerse themselves in the colours and spirit of Basant Panchami. The bright hues of orange added to the festive atmosphere, making the celebration even more joyful and memorable.
