The CBSE National Adolescent Summit 2024, held on December 20 and 21 at National Bal Bhawan, Kotla Marg, New Delhi, brought together school wellness teachers and four students to address critical themes such as mental health, life skills, and social safety. With Mr. Rajat Sharma, Chairman and Editor of India TV, and Mr. Himanshu Gupta, IAS and Secretary of CBSE, as the chief guests, the summit aimed to empower adolescents by fostering awareness and skills in these pivotal areas.

In the oratory competition, Shweta Dwivedi of Class 11 A delivered a compelling speech on reducing mental health stigma, earning appreciation for her confidence and impactful delivery. Ashmeet Kaur of Class 9 A showcased artistic expressions in the art competition, capturing themes of resilience, empathy, and problem-solving, with her work receiving high praise for its originality. Aanya of Class 11 A participated in the youth parliament, presenting innovative solutions for creating safer environments for adolescents. She was commended for her critical thinking and persuasive arguments. The team also excelled in the quiz competition, where Sheetal of Class 11 A demonstrated excellent knowledge and quick thinking, advancing to the final round and gaining recognition.
The summit provided valuable experiences in skill enhancement, such as public speaking, creative expression, and analytical thinking. It heightened awareness of mental health, life skills, and social safety while fostering collaboration among students from diverse backgrounds.
