On 24th January 2024, St. John's School, Greater Noida West, celebrated the Harvest Festival as Brown Colour Day alongside Republic Day with immense joy and enthusiasm. The day was marked by vibrant celebrations and engaging activities, leaving the children with cherished memories.
The event began with a special assembly dedicated to Republic Day. Children captivated everyone with beautiful and energetic performances, dancing to patriotic songs that evoked a sense of pride and love for the nation. Their enthusiasm and spirit set the perfect tone for the day's festivities.
Dressed in brown attire to mark Brown Colour Day, children participated in various artistic activities that blended creativity with learning. Nursery and LKG students crafted tricolour badges, while UKG children creatively made tricolour ice creams. These activities not only enhanced their artistic skills but also instilled the values of unity and patriotism.
In celebration of the Harvest Festival, children drew farmers' tools and decorated sunflowers using lentils, symbolizing the essence of gratitude for nature's bounty.
