Diwali is more than just lights and sweets; it’s about spreading happiness and creating cherished memories."
St. John’s School, Greater Noida, held a special assembly to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Diwali, which signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.
The students of Class IV E participated enthusiastically, beginning the assembly with prayers for divine blessings, lifting hearts with a humble stirring of love. The highlight of the event was a vibrant and divine performance by the talented students of Class IV E, depicting the story of Lord Rama—his courageous battles against demons in his youth, his exile, the defeat of Ravana, and his eventual return to Ayodhya.
It was a magnificent experience to witness the children’s excitement and zeal as they brought the epic Ramayana to life, celebrating the return of Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshman to Ayodhya after a 14-year exile. This special assembly provided a meaningful opportunity for students to experience, understand, and appreciate the significance of festivals, allowing them to connect deeply with their unique traditions and customs.
