KAUSHAL BODH ACTIVITY | GRADE VI-VIII
As part of the experiential learning initiative under KAUSHAL BODH for Classes VI–VIII, students actively engaged in theme-based projects that integrated creativity, scientific understanding, and real-life application.
Class VI explored the theme *“Work with Machines and Materials”, where students demonstrated their understanding by designing simple machines. They created working models incorporating basic concepts such as the **wheel and axle*, showcasing how simple mechanisms make everyday tasks easier and more efficient.
Class VII worked on the theme *“Work with Lifeforms”* and presented beautifully designed *terrariums*. Through this activity, students gained insight into miniature ecosystems, understanding the interdependence of plants, soil, water, and air within a confined environment.
Class VIII A further extended the theme *“Work with Lifeforms”* by presenting an innovative project titled *“Eco-Detectives: Designing a Living Balance.”* Students explored the concept of ecosystems by creating detailed models that highlighted the balance between living and non-living components. They also emphasized environmental challenges and proposed sustainable solutions, reflecting awareness and responsibility towards nature.
Overall, these projects provided students with a platform to apply their knowledge creatively, develop critical thinking skills, and foster a deeper understanding of scientific concepts through hands-on learning.
