CBSE JAL PAKHWADA ACTIVITY | “GUARDIANS OF EVERY DROP” | FELICITATION
“Every drop saved today secures a sustainable tomorrow.”
St. John’s School, Greater Noida West, actively participated in the CBSE Jal Pakhwada initiative conducted under the theme “Community Connect Challenge for Saving Water” during the month of April. The activity aimed to encourage students to adopt responsible water conservation practices and spread awareness about the importance of preserving this precious natural resource.
Under the guidance of Teacher Incharge Kamalpreet Kaur, students enthusiastically participated by incorporating simple yet impactful water-saving habits into their daily lives at home. They also shared photographs showcasing their meaningful conservation efforts, reflecting their commitment towards environmental responsibility and sustainable living.
To acknowledge and appreciate their dedication, Principal Reeja Ninan felicitated the students with mementos during the school assembly, honouring them as the “Guardians of Every Drop.”
The awardees included Manya Gupta (IX-C), Gyanshi Mittal (IX-D), Avi Kumar (VIII-C), Sarthak Singh Rawat (VIII-C), Arjun Dubey (VII-A), and Anshi Goyal (VI-A).
The initiative served as a meaningful reminder that collective efforts, even through small everyday actions, can contribute significantly towards water conservation and environmental sustainability.
