We at St. John’s School, Kindergarten, celebrated the spirit of Eid-ul-Fitr with a joyful Special Assembly on 17th April 2026. The assembly helped our little ones understand the significance of Eid and the values of love, sharing, and gratitude.
Highlights of the Assembly:
1. Prayer and Dance by UKG-B:
The celebration began with a special prayer by the students of UKG-B, seeking blessings of peace and happiness for all. This was followed by a vibrant dance performance in festive attire, beautifully capturing the joy of Eid.
2. Class Activities:
Nursery: Children showcased their creativity through Eid card making using the tear-and-paste technique. Their colorful cards carried warm Eid wishes.
LKG: Students enjoyed a tear-and-paste activity on a mosque outline, learning about its importance while enhancing their fine motor skills.
UKG: Children participated in a fun sewaiyan pasting activity, decorating paper bowls and connecting with the traditional Eid delicacy in a creative way.
3. Sharing Sweets:
Kindergarten students brought sweets to share with their friends, reflecting the true essence of Eid — spreading joy and sweetness.
The day was filled with smiles, learning, and festive cheer, making it a memorable celebration for all.
