BOOK REVIEW ACTIVITY | GRADE IX-XII

 

A Book Review Activity titled “One Book, One Lesson” was conducted on April 20, 2026 at St. John’s School, Greater Noida West, for students of Grades IX–XII. The activity was organized as part of the Academic Enrichment Program to promote reading habits, critical thinking, and real-world connections among students.

 

Students participated in groups of five to six under the supervision of their respective class teachers. Each group was assigned a book or lesson in advance and came prepared with writing materials. The review included a brief summary, the central theme or message, connections to current global or local events, and links to personal experiences or observations.

 

The activity encouraged collaboration, thoughtful discussion, and deeper understanding of texts. Class teachers ensured smooth conduct of the activity and documented it through photographs. Overall, the activity successfully engaged students in meaningful learning and reflection.
