ORIENTATION PROGRAMME | KINDERGARTEN

“Orientation is not just an introduction, but the first step towards building a strong and lasting partnership.”

Keeping this thought at heart, St. John’s School, Greater Noida West, organized a Kindergarten Orientation Programme on 23rd March 2026 (Monday) for the new parents. The programme aimed to familiarize them with the school’s curriculum, rules and regulations, transport facilities, teaching methodologies, and co-scholastic activities. The theme for the session, “From Wonder to Wisdom – A Beautiful Beginning,” perfectly reflected the essence of early childhood education.

The programme commenced with the blessings of the Almighty, where the teachers led a soulful prayer, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The parents were warmly welcomed by the Academic Coordinator, Ms. Swapna Pathak. The event was further enriched with a graceful dance performance on Saraswati Vandana, invoking wisdom and knowledge.

Parents were given a comprehensive overview of the school’s establishment, achievements, innovative teaching pedagogy, focus on holistic development, and assessment patterns. A glimpse of live teaching sessions was also shared to help parents understand the engaging and creative methods adopted in classrooms.

The respected Principal, Ms. Reeja Ninan, enlightened the parents with valuable parenting tips, emphasizing the importance of building a strong partnership between parents and the school. She highlighted the need to nurture children with love, care, and understanding to lay a strong foundation for their bright future. She also encouraged parents to share their suggestions and support the school in its journey of excellence.

Information regarding the school portal Edunext and special sports initiatives like Sport Fit Classes was also shared, highlighting their benefits in the overall development of children.

Adding a vibrant touch to the event, the children mesmerized everyone with a beautiful folk dance performance. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Academic Coordinator Ms. Rashmita Sarker, followed by the National Anthem.

The orientation programme truly reflected the school’s sincere efforts to guide and empower parents, ensuring that together they nurture young minds with care, confidence, and creativity.
