BROWN COLOUR DAY | NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY | KINDERGARTEN

“Colours add joy to learning, and science adds curiosity to life.”

On 27th February 2026 (Friday), St. John’s School joyfully celebrated Brown Colour Day along with Science Day for the kindergarten students. The day was thoughtfully planned to blend creativity with curiosity, making learning a delightful experience for little minds.

Children came dressed in brown-coloured attire, filling the classrooms with warmth and enthusiasm. Each class participated in age-appropriate and engaging activities. Nursery children enjoyed colouring an ice-cream worksheet, enhancing their fine motor skills. LKG students drew and coloured a cute teddy bear, expressing their creativity, while UKG children explored textures through fork printing on a porcupine, making the activity both fun and innovative.

Alongside colour activities, all kindergarten sections actively participated in various science experiments. Children were excited to explore activities such as “Go Away Germs,” rainbow experiments, colour-changing water, Rain from clouds, and many more simple experiments. These hands-on activities helped children observe, question, and understand basic scientific concepts in a playful manner.

Overall, the celebration was highly engaging, joyful, and educational, leaving children excited, curious, and eager to learn more through colours and science.
