FELICITATION OF INTERNATIONAL MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD (IMO) WINNERS
The International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) 2025–26, conducted by the Maths Olympiad Foundation (MOF), was celebrated with great enthusiasm at St. John’s School on 24 February 2026. The event recognized the remarkable achievements of students from Classes I to IX who demonstrated exceptional mathematical aptitude and dedication.
Certificates were formally awarded by the Principal Ms. Reeja Ninan along with the coordinators, honouring the students for their excellence in the IMO examination. The achievers were presented with silver and bronze medals in acknowledgment of their commendable performance.
Students of Classes I and II delivered an outstanding performance, with nearly 68 students participating and achieving an impressive total of 68 medals, reflecting their strong foundational skills and enthusiasm for mathematics at an early age. Their achievement stood as a testament to consistent preparation and academic rigor.
Furthermore, students of Classes VI to IX showcased noteworthy determination and competence. Despite the challenge of negative marking in the examination, they secured several Silver and Bronze medals, demonstrating resilience, accuracy, and conceptual clarity.
The accomplishment of the students in the International Mathematics Olympiad 2025–26 highlighted the school’s commitment to nurturing analytical thinking and mathematical excellence. The event concluded on a proud note, celebrating the hard work of the young achievers and inspiring others to strive for academic distinction in future competitions.
