“Where there is colour, there is joy; where there is learning, there is wisdom.”
St. John’s School, Greater Noida West celebrated Vasant Panchami and Yellow Colour Day with great joy and enthusiasm on Thursday, 22.01.26. The entire kindergarten wing looked bright and cheerful as children came dressed beautifully in yellow attire, spreading happiness all around.
The day began with a special assembly on Vasant Panchami, where children were told about the importance of the festival. They learned that Vasant Panchami is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge and wisdom, and also marks the beginning of the spring season, symbolizing new beginnings, positivity, and growth.
To make the day more engaging and meaningful, various creative activities were planned for the children:
Nursery students enjoyed colouring yellow-coloured objects, enhancing their colour recognition skills.
LKG students drew and coloured sunflowers, expressing their creativity with bright shades of yellow.
UKG students showcased their imagination by making beautiful drawings of kites and flowers, reflecting the joy of the spring season.
The school campus was filled with the fragrance of flowers, vibrant colours, and the sound of laughter and happiness. Overall, the celebration was a delightful learning experience that helped children understand cultural values while enjoying fun-filled activities.
