As part of the CBSE initiative under Pariksha Pe Charcha, ST. JOHN’S SCHOOL organised a series of enriching activities aimed at reducing examination stress, promoting holistic development, and nurturing patriotism and creativity among students. The activities included a Yoga Session, a Skit on Operation Sindoor, and a Poster Making Competition on the themes Make in India and Operation Sindoor.
The programme commenced with a Yoga Session conducted by trained instructors. Students of class V actively participated in various asanas, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques. The session emphasized the importance of physical fitness, mental calmness, and concentration, especially during examination time. The students found the session refreshing and motivating, helping them understand how yoga can reduce stress and improve focus.
This was followed by a thought-provoking skit on Operation Sindoor, performed by students of class VII. The skit highlighted the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of Indian soldiers and conveyed a strong message of patriotism and national pride. Through powerful dialogues and expressive acting, students effectively portrayed the significance of unity, discipline, and respect for the armed forces.
The programme concluded with a Poster Making Activity on the themes Make in India and Operation Sindoor. Students of class VIII showcased their creativity by designing colourful and meaningful posters reflecting self-reliance, indigenous development, and the valor of the Indian Army. The activity encouraged artistic expression while deepening students’ understanding of national initiatives and defence forces.
Overall, the activities were highly engaging and informative. They successfully promoted stress management, creativity, confidence, and a sense of responsibility towards the nation. The initiative proved to be a meaningful step in preparing students mentally and emotionally for examinations while fostering patriotic values.
