SPECIAL ASSEMBLY | WILDLIFE CONSERVATION | GRADE IV A & IV B | FANCY DRESS COMPETITION WINNERS FELICITATION
“It will not change the world if you save one animal, but it will certainly change the world for that one animal.”
The students of Class IV A & IV B presented a special assembly on the occasion of Wildlife Conservation Day at St. John’s School, GNW. The assembly began with the Lord’s Prayer, followed by the Thought for the Day, which emphasized the importance of protecting animals and preserving nature for future generations. Next, a student presented a vocabulary word related to wildlife.
One of the highlights of the assembly was a heartwarming poem in which students shared how human activities—such as deforestation, pollution, and illegal hunting—are harming animals and disturbing the balance of the environment.
During the assembly, certificates for the Fancy Dress Competition were also awarded to the students, celebrating their creativity and participation.
The assembly concluded with the message that every individual, especially young students, can play a role in saving wildlife by being aware, compassionate, and responsible.
The students learned the importance of respecting all living beings, protecting natural habitats, and taking small steps—such as planting trees, avoiding plastic, and spreading awareness—to ensure a safer world for animals.
