The assembly held at St. John’s School on the occasion of National Education Day was a tribute to the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India’s first Education Minister and a great visionary who laid the foundation of our modern education system.
The program began with the morning prayer, invoking blessings for wisdom and knowledge, followed by the thought of the day, emphasizing the importance of education as the key to progress and empowerment. A short speech highlighted Maulana Azad’s immense contributions in promoting education, especially among women and the underprivileged sections of society.
