EXCURSION TO LOHAGARH FARMS | GRADE X & XII

To provide students with a refreshing escape from their daily humdrum routine and to promote experiential learning beyond classroom walls, St. John’s School, Greater Noida (West) organized an educational-cum-recreational excursion to Lohagarh Farms, Haryana for the students of Classes X and XII on 25 October 2025.

The trip commenced with great enthusiasm as students boarded the buses from school at 8:00 a.m., accompanied by their teachers. The excitement in the air was palpable as the group sang songs and played games on their way to the destination. Upon arrival, they were warmly welcomed with traditional music and refreshments, instantly setting a cheerful tone for the day.

Lohagarh Farms, known for its blend of rural charm and adventure, offered students an immersive experience of village life through activities like pottery making, bullock cart rides, camel rides, and archery. They also participated in team-building games, tug-of-war, and adventure sports, showcasing teamwork, leadership, and cooperation.

The farm’s vibrant ambiance, traditional food, and open-air setup provided the perfect atmosphere for relaxation and bonding. One of the most exciting parts of the day was the DJ session, where students danced with unrestrained joy, creating lifelong memories with their peers and teachers.

The group departed from the farm in the evening, reaching the school safely around 7:00 p.m. The trip turned out to be a perfect blend of fun, learning, and rejuvenation, offering students not only delightful memories but also valuable lessons in cooperation, cultural appreciation, and the importance of taking breaks to refresh the mind.

Overall, the excursion to Lohagarh Farms was truly a memorable experience, leaving everyone with smiles, laughter, and a renewed sense of energy to resume their academic journey.
