“Diwali is the time to remove darkness and welcome the light of new beginnings.”
St. John’s School celebrated the spirit of Diwali with enthusiasm and creativity by organizing special activities for Classes III, IV, and V on 17th October (Friday). Students of Class III participated in a vibrant Rangoli Making Activity, where they designed beautiful patterns using eco-friendly materials like flowers, coloured rice, and natural colours, spreading the message of a pollution-free celebration. Meanwhile, students of Classes IV and V showcased their innovative ideas in the Best Out of Waste-Diwali Special Activity, using reusable materials such as old newspapers, plastic bottles, boxes, and fabric scraps to make attractive Diwali decoratives like diyas, lanterns, and torans. The activities not only enhanced students’ creativity and imagination but also instilled a strong sense of environmental responsibility, teamwork, and appreciation for sustainable living. The celebration truly reflected the message of a Green and Joyful Diwali, combining fun, learning, and eco-consciousness.
“Let the glow of the diyas brighten your life, and may you find happiness and success in all that you do.”
