In celebration of the upcoming festival of Diwali, St John’s School organized a special Bagless Day for students of classes VI to VIII. This initiative was aimed at promoting creativity, learning through fun, and fostering a festive spirit among students, while giving them a break from their regular academic routine.

Activities Conducted:

The students enthusiastically participated in a variety of engaging activities designed to stimulate their creativity, critical thinking, and collaborative spirit. The key activities included:

Rangoli Making:

Students showcased their artistic talents by creating vibrant and colorful rangolis. This activity not only encouraged creativity but also helped students appreciate the traditional art form associated with Diwali celebrations.

Book Swap:

To promote reading habits and sharing, a book swap session was organized where students exchanged their favorite books. This activity fostered a sense of community and encouraged students to explore diverse genres and authors.

Sudoku:

Sudoku puzzles were introduced to enhance logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Students enjoyed the challenge of completing the puzzles within the given time, boosting their concentration and analytical abilities.

Science Experiment:

As part of experiential learning, simple and safe science experiments were conducted. These experiments sparked curiosity and reinforced scientific concepts taught in the classroom, making learning both fun and practical.

The Bagless Day was a huge success, with students actively participating and enjoying the variety of activities. The day helped students relax, bond with peers, and engage in hands-on learning. Teachers and staff appreciated the enthusiasm and creativity displayed by the students.
