A Doha Recitation Competition was organized on 6th October, 2025 ( Monday) for the students of Classes I and II at St. John’s School. The main objective of the competition was to develop students’ interest in Hindi literature and to enhance their speaking and presentation skills.
The young participants recited beautiful Dohas of great poets like Kabir, Rahim, and Tulsidas with great confidence and correct pronunciation. Their expressions and voice modulation added charm to their performances.
The competition helped the students learn valuable moral lessons hidden in the Dohas and encouraged them to appreciate the richness of Indian culture and language. The judges appreciated the efforts of all participants and congratulated the winners for their commendable performances.
It was truly a delightful and enriching experience for everyone.
