“The Ramayana is not just a story, it is a lesson in values, courage, and righteousness.”
St. John’s School, Greater Noida West, organized a special competition on 25th September 2025 (Thursday) to instill cultural values and confidence among the kindergarten children.
The event was divided into two groups. Nursery children came dressed as different characters from the Ramayana and spoke a few lines about them with great enthusiasm. Their innocent portrayal of Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshman, Hanuman, and other characters brought the epic to life in a delightful way.
The LKG and UKG students showcased their talent through storytelling based on the Ramayana. With the help of expressive narration and creative props, they narrated stories that conveyed morals of truth, devotion, and bravery.
The competition was held in two rounds. The first round took place on 23rd September 2025, where students from each class participated, and a few were selected for the final round. The second round, held on 25th September, saw the children performing exceptionally well, leaving everyone amazed by their confidence and presentation skills.
Overall, the event was a wonderful learning experience that not only enhanced the children’s oratory skills but also helped them imbibe the timeless values of the Ramayana.
