“Every festival is an opportunity to nurture values, spread joy, and create lifelong memories.”
On 26th September 2025 (Friday), the Kindergarten Department of St. John’s School, Greater Noida West, joyfully celebrated Purple Colour Day, Bagless Day, and Dussehra together. The day was packed with learning, creativity, and cultural spirit.
The celebration began with a special assembly, where children presented a graceful dance and narrated stories from the Ramayana. Dressed as various Ramayana characters, the little ones added charm and devotion to the occasion.
After the assembly, children participated in interesting activities designed to enhance their creativity and connect them with the theme:
Nursery students crafted Ravana’s face and enjoyed tearing-and-pasting on an eggplant.
LKG students decorated colourful dandiya sticks and did colouring on purple objects.
UKG students engaged in tearing-and-pasting on Lord Rama’s picture and explored sponge printing on grapes.
The entire day was filled with fun, laughter, and enthusiasm. The celebrations not only gave children joyful experiences but also helped them understand the importance of festivals, colours, and traditions in a playful and meaningful way.
