On 19th September 2025, St. John’s School, Greater Noida West, hosted an enlightening workshop for its teaching faculty in collaboration with Sarvodaya Hospital, Gaur city Noida. The session focused on the vital topic of Spine Wellness and was conducted in the school auditorium from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The esteemed Dr. Ganesh Gunjan, Associate Director of Neurosurgery at Sarvodaya Hospital, served as the resource person for the session. The workshop commenced with a warm welcome address by Ms. Saba Zaidi, the organiser of the event, who set the tone by highlighting the importance of spinal health, especially for educators who often spend long hours standing or seated.
Dr. Gunjan captivated the audience with an informative and interactive presentation. He shed light on the causes and early signs of spinal distress and stressed the significance of maintaining a healthy spine through regular yoga and targeted exercises. The workshop was not only insightful but also practical, as the participants were introduced to simple stretches and postures that can be incorporated into their daily routines to alleviate back strain and improve posture.
Teachers actively participated in the session, asking relevant queries regarding posture correction, work-related spinal issues, and lifestyle changes. Dr. Gunjan addressed each question with clarity and empathy, ensuring that all concerns were thoughtfully answered.
The session concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Reeja Ninan, the respected Principal of St. John’s School, who appreciated the efforts of Dr. Gunjan and Sarvodaya Hospital for their valuable contribution to staff wellness.
