On Saturday, 26th July 2025, St. John’s School organized a BMI (Body Mass Index) Checking Session exclusively for the parents of Class VI students. This initiative, held from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM in the Biology Lab, was conducted under the supervision of the School Medical Department. It was part of the school’s experiential learning program, promoting “learning by doing” and extending education beyond traditional classroom settings. Grade XI Biology students actively conducted the BMI checks, gaining meaningful hands-on experience in health sciences. The session aligned with CBSE’s directive to encourage healthier lifestyles and combat rising obesity rates. It not only created health awareness among parents but also provided students with practical exposure to real-world applications of their academic learning.
