The first-ever Moot Court Competition at St. John's School, Greater Noida West was successfully organised in collaboration with TCR – The Court Room, marking a significant milestone in our school’s academic and co-curricular journey. The event commenced on 24th July 2025 and witnessed enthusiastic participation and insightful presentations from the students.
In preparation for the competition, a comprehensive Moot Court Training Programme was conducted from 16th July to 23rd July 2025. During this period, Mr. Devendra , a legal expert from TCR, visited the school daily to train and mentor the participants. Additionally, Mr. Shivam , the Co-founder of The Court Room, along with Mr. Devendra, graced the school with his presence for two days, providing valuable insights and guidance to the students.
A total of 34 students participated in the competition, showcasing their advocacy, reasoning, and public speaking skills. The event provided a practical exposure to courtroom proceedings and legal argumentation, greatly enhancing the students’ understanding of the legal system.
The competition culminated in a well-contested finale, where Team 1(Shrishti Audichya of Grade XII C, Dheer Malhotra of Grade XII C, Kanishka Aithani of Grade XI A and Ritvik Singh of Grade X B) – the Respondent Party – emerged as the winners. The program was not only a great learning experience but also a testament to the students' dedication and the mentors' efforts.
The successful execution of the event was made possible through the collective efforts of the faculty, the support from TCR, and the enthusiastic participation of our students. It has set a strong foundation for future legal education initiatives at our institution.
