“Nature is not a place to visit. It is home.” – Gary Snyder
To mark the significance of World Nature Conservation Day, a special assembly was conducted on 28th July by the enthusiastic students of Classes V-D and V-E. The assembly beautifully highlighted the importance of preserving and protecting our natural resources.
The programme began with the Word of the Day and an inspiring Thought, setting the tone for the occasion. This was followed by a powerful skit, creatively showcasing the urgent need to conserve nature. The students, through their impactful dialogues and expressive performances, conveyed a strong message on the consequences of environmental negligence and the importance of taking action.
The assembly concluded with a vibrant and energetic dance performance, symbolising harmony with nature. The dedication, creativity, and teamwork displayed by the students made the assembly truly the best one—both meaningful and memorable.
Such initiatives go a long way in nurturing awareness and responsibility among young minds towards building a greener and sustainable future.
