A special assembly was conducted in St. John’s School on 17.07.2025(Thursday) on the occasion of World International Justice Day by class VIII-B, with great enthusiasm and purpose. The assembly began on a solemn and spiritual note with the Lord’s Prayer, seeking peace, fairness, and justice for all.
This was followed by an inspiring Thought for the Day, which reminded everyone that “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” The Word of the Day, “Sovereignty” was beautifully explained and contextualized, helping students understand its real-world relevance.
The News Bulletin kept everyone updated with important national and international headlines, while a Book Review segment brought forward a thought-provoking read.
The highlight of the assembly was a powerful and thought-provoking skit performed by the students, addressing major global justice concerns such as Racism, Gender Inequality, Women’s Voting Rights, and Environmental Issues. Through expressive dialogues, visuals, and creative use of sashes symbolizing various causes, the skit emphasized the importance of Equality, Empowerment, Voice, and Sustainability as key solutions to these pressing issues. The performance not only raised awareness but also inspired action and empathy among the audience.
The assembly concluded on a high-spirited note with an energetic dance performance that celebrated unity, hope, and the collective power of youth in shaping a just world.
Overall, the assembly served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of justice in building a fair and inclusive society and left a lasting impact on all present.
