SPECIAL ASSEMBLY | PATRON’S DAY | GRADE VI-VIII

On May 8, St. John’s School held its Patron’s Day assembly, a solemn and uplifting event that united the school community to honor the life and legacy of our revered patron. The ceremony began with a prayer, invoking blessings for students, faculty, and staff, and setting a respectful tone. Attendees listened attentively and participated wholeheartedly, reflecting the school’s core values.

A sequence of student presentations followed. A heartfelt speech highlighted Patron’s Day’s significance, emphasizing our patron’s enduring influence on the school’s vision and mission. The choir rendered a moving hymn, echoing faith, service, and compassion. Each presentation was met with warm applause, showcasing the students’ dedication and teamwork. Guided by their teachers, eighth-grade students performed a skit depicting our patron’s life and teachings. A memorable scene showed the patron extending kindness to the needy, powerfully illustrating selfless service. Their performance was informative and moving, revealing values that continue to shape our institution. Principal Ms. Reeja Ninan addressed the assembly with an inspiring message, urging students to live by the patron’s ideals and express those values through actions.
