The eagerly awaited inter-house extempore competition was held on April 29, 2025, witnessing spirited participation from the four houses: Carmel, Sinai, Tabore, and Horeb. This year's theme, "SDG 13 – Take Urgent Action to Combat Climate Change and Its Impacts," challenged participants to creatively interpret and articulate nuanced viewpoints.
The competition commenced with Carmel House, setting a dynamic tone. Horeb House followed, delivering a logical and compelling discourse enriched by relevant real-world examples. Sinai House captured attention with an insightful exploration of the philosophical dimensions of environmental preservation. Tabore House concluded with a persuasive argument, incorporating concrete illustrations from contemporary incidents.
Participants from each house were given 2-3 minutes to eloquently express their interpretations on selected subtopics, demonstrating impressive oratory prowess and swift intellectual agility.
