“Trees are poems that the earth writes upon the sky.” — Khalil Gibran
St. John's School, Greater Noida West, celebrated Earth Day and Green Colour Day with full enthusiasm on 25th April 2025 (Friday). Children came dressed beautifully in green attire, symbolizing their love and care for nature.
A special assembly was organized where the students showcased a wonderful story highlighting the importance of plants and trees in our lives. To further reinforce the message, a sapling plantation activity was conducted, helping children understand the significance of planting and nurturing trees for a greener future.
Each class participated in exciting and meaningful activities:
Nursery children did colouring on blue and green dustbins to learn about waste segregation.
LKG students engaged in a creative tear-and-paste activity on dustbins.
UKG students learned about the segregation of dry and wet waste, associating it with the blue and green dustbins.
Through these activities, children learned about our planet Earth and how they can contribute towards keeping it clean and healthy. It was a day full of learning, joy, and awareness, leaving a lasting impact on the young minds.
