To commemorate Ambedkar Jayanti, a special morning assembly was conducted by the students of Class X-A at St. John’s School on 11th April 2025, paying a heartfelt tribute to the Father of the Indian Constitution — Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
The assembly began with the Morning Lord’s Prayer, followed by a Thought of the Day reflecting Baba saheb’s vision. News headlines and the School Pledge further set a purposeful tone.
A powerful speech highlighting Dr. Ambedkar’s extraordinary journey was followed by a thought-provoking skit beautifully portraying his values of equality, education, and empowerment.
Adding to the charm was a soulful group song dedicated to unity and harmony, and a vibrant dance performance by the girls of Class X that celebrated the spirit of freedom and self-respect.
The assembly culminated with the melodious School Song and the National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired to uphold the values of justice, dignity, and knowledge.
