A fancy dress competition not only blends learning with fun but also develops confidence in students by giving them an opportunity to speak in front of their classmates. To celebrate this fun-filled learning activity, students of classes III - V at St. John's School participated in a fancy dress competition in August 2024. The creativity of the parents was evident as they dressed their children with boundless imagination. The students came adorned as Great Freedom Fighters such as Rani Laxmi Bai, Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi, Ashfaqullah Khan, and Savitribai Phule, among others.
Children participated with a lot of enthusiasm and displayed their confidence while speaking. Their innocent words and stage presence won the hearts of teachers and judges alike. The competition proved to be a great learning experience for the students and provided them with a platform to explore their hidden talents.
